Health, Safety and Environment: CDP launches the HSE Community

Work begins with the Group’s investee companies

Strengthen the network of connections, share experiences and promote the exchange of ideas. The HSE Community, the network of Health, Safety and Environment specialists of the investee companies of the CDP Group, was launched on 4 June at the headquarters of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti with these objectives.

Championed by CDP, the Community aims to launch partnerships to develop joint projects on topics of common interest and implement new models and strategies to improve the management of health and safety aspects and environmental protection.

The HSE Community comprises the Group companies and the main investee companies: Ansaldo Energia, Autostrade per l'Italia, CDP Equity, CDP Real Asset SGR, CDP Reti, CDP Venture Capital SGR, Euronext, Fincantieri, Fintecna, Fondazione CDP, Italgas, Nexi Payments, Open Fiber, Polo Strategico Nazionale, Poste Italiane, Renovit, Saipem, Simest, Snam, Terna, Trevi, Trevi Group, Valvitalia and Webuild.

Among the contributors to the initiative were Alberto Tavani, Director of Innovation, Transformation and Operations at CDP, who opened proceedings, Maurizio Masini, CDP Property, Facility Mgmt, Services, Health, Safety & Environment Manager, and Alberto Di Lernia, CDP Health, Safety and Environment Manager.

During the day various presentations were given on the digitalisation of HSE processes and Training 2.0, which uses innovative tools such as augmented reality and serious game methodology to make the training experience more effective and engaging. Also in attendance at the meeting were Francesca La Mendola, Quality, Health, Safety, Environment Specialist Open Fiber, Rocco Sainato, Head of HSEQ Management System, Certifications, Audits and Emergency and Crisis Saipem, Alessandro Arthur De Leonardis, Facilities Manager Italy and Health and Safety Manager Euronext, Carlo Briziarelli, Vice President Group HSE and Real Estate Fincantieri, Maura Marisei, Head of Delegation Training OHS and Health Surveillance Poste Italiane and Serena D’Acquisto Head of Organization with Stefano Pantano, OHS Manager of Polo Strategico Nazionale.

The meeting concluded with the passing of the baton, represented in this case by a safety helmet, symbolising the topics covered by the Community, which will be handed over each time to the companies that host the next events as a pledge to maintain a continuous dialogue and support the growth and development of the network.

The next meeting will be held at the headquarters of Saipem.
