With 750,000 euros, SIMEST funds US growth of Fagioli Group, historic leader in the transport sector

Rome, December 30, 2016

In operation carried out by SIMEST to promote the competitiveness of Italian companies abroad, CDP Group acquired 9% of the American subsidiary of Fagoli Group.

The Fagoli Group, based in Sant’Ilario d’Enza in Italy’s northeast Emilia-Romagna region,  was founded in 1955 as a transport company, soon becoming a leader in transportation management throughout Italy. With over 60 years of experience, the company is now an international leader, providing a transport "door-to-door service" of exceptional components and the provision of plant design projects for the manufacturing and energy industries in any part of the world.

With support of Simest, the Fagioli will equip its US subsidiary Fagoli Inc. with additional means for heavy-equipment lifting and movement as well as know-how and skilled personnel, increasingly focusing on rapidly growing foreign demand. Fagioli Inc., founded in Houston, Texas in 1998, is home to the commercial coordination and operations for Fagoli’s business in the US, Canada, and Mexico where it holds a strategic position by selling services to major oil companies and the petrochemical sector.

CDP Group together with SACE and Simest, one door of export and internationalization, promotes the future of the Italian economy, focusing on the Made in Italy excellence and sustaining growth in foreign markets.
