Turin, 18 november 2016

Forty-five students from high schools, technical and vocational schools with backgrounds in subjects including the philosophy of information technology, natural sciences, and design have won scholarships for the “Top of the Class” project awarded by CDP. Winners of the competitive exams organized by the Italian  Ministry of Education will attend an awards ceremony at the Museum of the Italian Risorgimento in Turin.

The project, created to reward outstanding students and bring them closer to the financial world, was supported by various public and private institutions. In particular, CDP participated by assigning three €2,000 scholarships for excellence in statistics, physics and computer science. The scholarships went to Jacopo Guoyi Chen for physics; Mirko Giacchini for computer science; and Vito Medici for statistics.

The winners will not only receive a scholarship. For their excellence, they will have the opportunity to participate in a three-day campus at the Museum of Risparmio di Torino, where they will meet established entrepreneurs, familiarize themselves with international financial institutions, and deepen their learning about entrepreneurship and team building .

With this project CDP remains committed to promoting the future of youth and sustainability, rewarding Italian excellence and contributing to economic and financial field training. Congratulations to winners.
