Call for tenders for the construction of the new Piedmont health complex: CDP supported the Region as financial economic advisor in the tender phase.
Rome March 11, 2019 Clinical research, health care and educational activities: this will be the scope of the Turin "Parco della salute" , a new complex that will be developed in the former Avio-Oval area, with the aim of redeveloping a vast urban area and equipping Northern Italy with a cutting-edge Centre, made up of four functional centres. The procedure for awarding the public-private partnership contract, the formula envisaged for the construction of the project, began with the publication of the call for tenders for the construction of the new space. CDP played a fundamental in this first technical phase, following the objectives of the business plan, it acted as an advisor for the preparation of the tender documentation. In fact, CDP has assisted the Region in defining economic-financial issues, risk sharing and public private-partnership (PPP) contract eligibility, and related tender procedures, working alongside a group of experts from the Health City (as a contracting station), the Piedmont Region, Ernst & Young and Epec (the EIB’s European consultancy centre for public-private partnerships). The commitment to the region, also includes technical support to local authorities, primary CDP stakeholders, since 1850: the objective is to support the creation of public utility projects, providing useful know-how and skills. The deadline for submitting applications is 26th April: requests will be analysed to verify the economic and technical requirements and the acepted operators can then present a first project proposal.
