Stimulating the generation of ideas and creating a flexible environment for the changing requirements of the market. These are the objectives of the Innovation Community, the new network of innovation professionals launched by the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) Group.
Participants of the initiative, which was presented on 28 May during a meeting at the CDP offices of Via Goito, included Alberto Tavani, Innovation, Transformation and Operations Manager at CDP, who opened the day’s proceedings, Valeria de Flaviis, Head of Innovation Lab & Digital Transformation at CDP and Gianluca Salviotti, Associate Professor of Practice of Information Systems and Digital Transformation at SDA Bocconi School of Management, who highlighted the importance of digital technologies for the development of innovative ideas and solutions.
The Innovation Community includes the Group companies and the main investee companies: Ansaldo Energia, Autostrade per l’Italia, CDP Equity, CDP Venture Capital, Elite, ENI, Euronext, Fincantieri, Fintecna, Fondo Italiano di Investimento SGR, GPI, Italgas, NEXI, Open Fiber, Polo Strategico Nazionale, Poste Italiane, Renovit, Saipem, Simest, Snam, Terna, TIM, Gruppo Trevi, Valvitalia and Webuild.
Topics of the day included the strategic value of the Community in terms of sharing knowledge and creating cross-company synergies.
Dedicated working groups will be launched in the upcoming months based on the key needs of the Community, with the objective of collaborating on the most important necessities and defining future projects.
The next meeting of the Community, planned for the autumn, will be organised by Terna.
