Rome, 10 May 2022 – In view of the renewal of the Board of Directors of Fondo Italiano d'Investimento SGR (FII SGR), Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) announced that it has appointed Davide Bertone as the new Chief Executive Officer of FII SGR, the company that today manages 13 closed-end securities investment funds reserved to qualified investors, with Asset Under Management for over 3 billion euro, of which CDP Equity is the majority shareholder and whose capital includes the shareholders Intesa Sanpaolo, Unicredit, Fondazione ENPAM, Fondazione ENPAIA, ABI, Banco BPM and BPER Banca.
Davide Bertone, who graduated from the University of Turin with a Degree in Business and Economics, comes from Mediobanca where for twenty years he held positions of increasing responsibility, until in 2019 he became Co-Head of Mid-Corporates and Financial Sponsor Solutions. From 1998 to 2002, Davide Bertone worked for Fiat Group (now Stellantis), becoming CFO of Fiat Auto Argentina SA.
For the appointment of Bertone on the Board of Directors of FII SGR, the required communications have been sent to the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
